1) Feminist reading of Harmione’s character in Harry Potter: How do the character portrayal of Harmione and other female characters support feminist discourse?

Harmione is quite simple, beautiful, intelligent and brave girl yet J.K Rowling has not given main role. Perhaps J. K. Rolling willingly not given main role to Hermione because may audience or especially male don’t prefer it or it wasn’t popular as it is. She was portrayed as intelligent and smart but somehow we can find that Hermione Is only used as an object to entertain the audience because her only job is to stay with Harry and Ron to help them into the magic but ultimately the credit goes to the Harry and at the end of the novel we will also found the all the credit goes towards the Harry again who is male. Even it is children’s literature we can find that into the party Hermione has to wear dress which can objectified the women’s body so into the children’s literature also has women were objectified. Being a female writer Rowlling gives strength, power, and intellect to Harmione’s character. But is she a central character? No. Harry is the central character. Rowlling can give strength but she has to portray Harmione as accepted by the world rather than what she wants to portrayed. Potter is at the center because Harmione cannot do a cultural conflict & Rowlling could not allow her to do so. If female is the centre of the novel or movie than it is not popular. The reason is society is still patriarchal & it difficult to own by patriarchy.

2) The theme of Love and Death: How does Harry Potter make use of age old theme of Love of the dead as well as living as protecting armour? How does Harry Potter deal with the concept of Death as something inevitable?

The theme of love and death goes parallel to the text but stands opposite throughout the text. Here we can divide into two parts one is willingly and second is forcefully. Harry stands in the world because of love by his mother while voldamort can be considered as from black background rather from the evil. Love is treated as a ranch of magic , although it does not seem to be something that easily controlled rising unbidden from the emotion itself. Lilly’s Sacrifice on behalf of harry turns into at the end of the series to work to Harry’s advantage in unpredictable ways. Death has played a central role in each book, and is at the heart of the final confrontation between Harry and Voldemort. Both Horcrux, which form the main thrust of the entire series, and the Deathly Hallows which are a major part of the story of the seventh book, are shown to be means of avoiding or mastering death.

3) Children’s Literature and Harry Potter: How far does J K Rowling transcends the canonical confines of children’s literature and claims the heights of ‘real’ literature?

The novel is related to the children literature it means that the children literature books were related to the ideas of self-observing it means that children should like those things which were directly related with their self-existence and self-learning also So we can say that J.K Rowling has created the new world into the novel which is directly connected to the speculative literature as we can see the children's literature. In Harry Potter mostly all the scene were related to the magic and power of reality and a different world which is not possible into the real world also. So children like those things which related to power and magic as well as a different world also.
