FEMINISM IN INDIA

In religious rituals and customs, females are restricted from taking part in all worship. In Kerala, females are not allowed to enter in the  temples. They are also restricted from worshiping the God Hanuman and in some regions they are restricted from touching the 'shivling' the idol  of lord shiva. In swaninarayan temples the priest of the temples were not allowed women to get enter in the temple because they don't want to see the face of the women. Because they thought that if the will see the face of an another lady expect their mother their mind will get distracted. I am asking that when their mother gave birth to them at that time they didn't saw the face of their mother?

Most of the average Indian woman's life is spent in marriage; many women are still married before the legal age of 18. Childbearing and raising children are the priorities of early adulthood for Indian women.
